155 Studios Digital Media Design was started in the spring of '07. I started the company almost immediately after I graduated college and have been trying to put as much time into it as I can.
Unfortunately having full-time job limits the amount of freelance work I can accomplish. All of the coding and layout work I did myself, but I did use some stock photography in the design.
While I do the design work for clients the hosting is handled by vanthielconsulting.com
ZetaZetaChapter.com was designed while I was an undergrad at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
The site contains features such as a content management system and a profile system which allows the brothers to update there own profiles and upload there own pictures. The goal of this site was to design a site that could be completely run by the end-user.
The site shows good examples of integrating PHP with MySQL to create a database driven website.
UFCW1473.org is the first project that I received from a client. The original project was just to do a redesign of the site. When I did the redesign I wanted the site to take up the entire browser so I used an expanding table layout and implemented a pop-up menu.
Currently I am working with UFCW 1473 to do a redesign of the website to make it a table-less design and implement a content management system so that they can make updates to the site on their own.
The J. F. Ahern Co. Intranet was a project that I started on immediately once I began my job with the company. I've been working on it since my first week of employment and we are planning on setting the site live on the first of the year.
The project has been a real accomplishment for me since I've spent so long on it, the amount of data and the disorganization of the previous folder structure made the project very challenging.
While I can't give you an example of the live site, for various reasons, I did put up a screenshot.
